This stunning drop point style knife makes for a lovely display piece. The eye popping Cardinal red blade was pressure knapped from an old slab of Carrara glass build facing tile. It was  a popular building material during the first half of the 20th century. It's trademarked name was "Vitrolite" and it was manufactured up until around 1954.  The knife handle body is made of Osage Orange wood, with the end caps being made from alternating Red Oak and Poplar wood. The blade tang has been hafted into the handle using traditional methods using pine pitch glue to set the blade and whitetail deer sinew and hide glue to make the securing wraps. The handle wood has been sealed with multiple layers of Walnut oil.
